Kasia Frankowicz is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist whose work blends raw street energy with quiet surrealism. Influenced by her Western Sydney upbringing and Polish heritage, she creates bold, emotionally resonant pieces across painting, sculpture, and immersive game worlds.

Her work often features bold strokes, recurring animal motifs, and charged colour palettes, exploring identity, memory, and the strange beauty of ordinary moments. Embracing both control and chaos, she captures the tension where vulnerability, rebellion, and truth collide. “My work lives somewhere between high and low brow,” she says. “That in-between is where the magic happens.”

Ashlee Bennett graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts nearly a decade ago before pursuing postgraduate studies to become an art psychotherapist. As a practising therapist, and with a fondness for (over)analysing, she built a large social media following reflecting on themes of the body and went on to author her first book, The Art of Body Acceptance.

In recent years, Ashlee has returned to her fine art roots, carrying with her the insights of therapeutic practice and the experience of witnessing the most tender aspects of being human. Working primarily with clay, she explores shared emotional states through familiar objects—beds, blankets, couches, baths—that serve as vessels for our inner worlds. Her sculptures invite reverence for these private, everyday moments, encouraging us to embrace emotionality as a form of somatic wisdom.

Ashlee

Stephen Smith is a visual artist based in Surry Hills, Sydney. After beginning his career in painting, he went on to compose soundtracks for some of Australia’s best-known television shows before returning to his first love of art. His work explores streetscapes, landscapes, and portraits, often capturing overlooked moments of emptiness or tension between the built and natural worlds. Whether on screen or canvas, his focus is always on creating an emotional connection with his audience.

Chance

Chance Purpose is a Sydney-based sculptor whose artistic journey was profoundly shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic. After losing his job at a financial institution during lockdown, he revisited a creative experiment inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi—repairing a broken vase with technicolour resin. This act of reconstruction became a therapeutic process, allowing him to exert control amidst uncertainty. His sculptures, characterized by vibrant resin and epoxy, reflect a meditative practice where the slow curing process necessitates patience and presence. As Chance describes, his art became "a violent but beautiful way to exert control over something else, at a time when none of us felt like we were in control of anything" .

Tess

Tess Jetnikoff, a self-taught artist residing on Wadawurrung country, has been drawn to art since childhood. Her work is characterized by intense colors and textures reminiscent of Fauvism.

Using palette knives and high-quality oil paints, Tess creates thick, dynamic layers of contrasting colors and textures. Her painting process is primarily intuitive, guided by her subconscious mind. Emotions dictate her choices, from subject matter to color selection for each piece.

Her art evokes a range of emotions, from darkness and grief to calmness, desire, and themes of female empowerment.

CAM

Sydney Artist Cameron Forsyth's work is steeped in nostalgia, evoking childhood memories through his use of vibrant colours and playful imagery. His artwork has a unique nostalgic-pop feel.

Working as a sound engineer for 20 years has given Cam an inside look into advertising in the media. His professional experience influences the sarcastic nature of his paintings and apparel.

Cam has previously dabbled in photography and music producing and has sold his art to collectors internationally

Anahita

Based in Melbourne, Iranian-Australian visual artist Anahita Amouzegar explores the intersection of the tangible and intangible through figurative abstraction. Her work delves into the depths of human experience, capturing complex emotions and the ever-shifting landscapes of the mind.

Guided by intuition, Anahita creates art that reflects the dialogue between the conscious and subconscious, using vibrant hues and bold gestures to invite viewers on an interpretive journey.

Each piece serves as a vessel for feelings, memories, and dreams, blurring the boundaries of reality and sparking contemplation and connection. Through her art, Anahita seeks to evoke a renewed sense of wonder about the multifaceted tapestry of the human soul.

Clinton Gorst is a master of intricate collage with a retro feel, incorporating brutalist architecture, sci-fi and tech into his pieces. His art not only captivates the eye but also offers commentary on the climate crisis and the future of our planet.

In 2019, he had his debut regional gallery showing at Casula Powerhouse, named one of the top 5 exhibitions to see nationwide by ART GUIDE AUSTRALIA. He was also part of BARE BONES at AIRspace projects, where he responded to the poems of JR Waen by focusing on people and humanity, echoing his early Pop-style works from the ‘90s.

This is your Rebirth

Established in Sydney in 2022 by Kasia Frankowicz, REBIRTH Arts Collective is an artist-run initiative now based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. It is known for its bold, emotionally charged exhibitions that span painting, sculpture, installation, performance, and experimental forms. The collective supports underrepresented and marginalised voices, with a strong focus on women, LGBTQI+ artists, and those with lived experience of displacement, violence, or cultural exclusion.

REBIRTH operates with a spirit of creative rebellion—prioritising authenticity, vulnerability, and experimentation over commercial polish. It curates immersive, often interdisciplinary exhibitions that blur the lines between high and low culture, inviting audiences to engage deeply with work that is both personally resonant and politically aware. Through a mix of studio practice, public programming, and grassroots collaboration, the collective aims to disrupt the status quo, create space for radical storytelling, and spark new conversations in Australia’s evolving art landscape.
